For over 40 years, A&G Electrical Contractors and G&G Electrical Services have proudly served the CSRA and surrounding regions with dependable, high-quality commercial and industrial electrical work built on experience, integrity, and strong family values. This legacy is further strengthened by over 20 years of project estimating and procurement expertise provided by our dedicated team member, Ken Weatherford, who continues to serve as our Head Estimator today.

A&G Electrical Contractors is where it all began. Founded in 1984 by Glenn Gentry Sr., the company opened its doors as a union electrical contractor committed to delivering professional-grade electrical solutions and exceptional craftsmanship throughout the Central Savannah River Area. The same location Glenn Sr. established in 1984 remains home to the company today. While the office has been remodeled and updated over the years, the original warehouse he built to operate the business still stands and continues to serve as the foundation of daily operations.

Following Glenn Sr.’s retirement, leadership transitioned to his son, Glenn Gentry Jr., who continues to carry the company forward while honoring the standards and work ethic the business was built on. In 2005, Glenn Jr. expanded operations by founding G&G Electrical Services, LLC, a non-union electrical company that opened additional opportunities and allowed the team to serve a broader range of commercial and industrial clients and project needs.

Today, the company remains proudly family-owned and operated. Glenn Gentry Jr. remains actively involved as Owner, providing leadership and oversight across both companies. His daughter, CariAnn, manages administrative operations and accounts payable, ensuring the office side of the business runs efficiently and professionally. His son-in-law, TJ McLean, serves as Project Manager and plays a critical leadership role within G&G Electrical Services. TJ oversees day-to-day project operations and ensures the successful execution of our work in the field. As the primary point of contact on many projects, he works directly with clients, contractors, and crews to maintain schedules, uphold quality standards, and deliver the dependable service our reputation has been built on.

While proudly based in the CSRA, our team regularly travels to support projects beyond our immediate region — a reflection of the trust our clients place in our workmanship and reliability. Whether working locally or on travel assignments, we remain committed to delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality commercial and industrial electrical services backed by more than four decades of experience.
